Who makes UP↑SCALE - and how

Hi, I am Johann. The first UP↑SCALEs were built for my own needs: for my legal commercial kitchens on Tenerife, where we made infused food every day, and for our legal cannabis club there. Every day the same story: a scale that showed a number - and everything else, the dose per portion, the harvest weights, what went to whom, what was left in the jar, the papers for the next inspection, on paper, in spreadsheets and in our heads.

So the scale learned it: weighing in mg of THC, infusions with a known strength, jars that tell you what is left, every gram on a lot, the records made while you weigh. From there it grew job by job - counting, check-weighing, ℮ control, labels, stock and sales, recipes, the test suite for scales and the records a laboratory has to prove - into the 35+ jobs of today.

2The company: FARM 23 SL

The licences are sold by FARM 23 SL, a Sociedad Limitada (limited company under Spanish law), 38650 Los Cristianos, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain (NIF B76609064). 3What we sell - and what not

• Licences: the app and the free version cost nothing. PRO and ENTERPRISE & COMPLIANCE are licences for the firmware on your board - by the month, the year or once for ever (PRO 119.90 EUR once, ENTERPRISE 599.00 EUR once, incl. VAT). The shop.
• The board is not ours: the ESP32-C3 RS232 Adapter (about 13.50 EUR) is sold and shipped by TinyTronics, our logistics partner. UP↑SCALE is not affiliated with LEOTRO, the maker of the board. How to get it.
• Our own scales are prototypes: the UP↑SCALE 420 / 710 and the 232 UP↑SCALER are not for sale at the moment. We use them to develop and test every function.
• Build it yourself: the DIY adapter runs the same firmware with the same licence.

4How we work

• Your data stays yours: no cloud, no account, no tracking in the app, and it works offline - our promises.
• Pay once if you like: every licence is also sold for ever, without a subscription, and updates stay free.
• We say what it is not: no certifications we don't have, no "compliant" or "write-once" promises. Every page names its limits - for example the security and the audit trail pages.
• Open where it matters: the wireless protocol is documented with example code, and anybody can check a sealed record on the check page - without us.
