Weighing Scale

Of course it weighs - in grams, kilograms, milligrams, ounces, pounds, carats, grains, troy ounces, pennyweight and eighths. Add a density and it weighs in volumes too: milliliters, cups, teaspoons or fluid ounces, straight from the scale. It knows the densities of many foods and of hundreds of solvents and chemicals.

• Containers: save the weight of your pot, jar or bottle - and tare the scale even when the pot is already full
• Percent weighing (also known as baker's percentage): say what 100 % is, and every weight is shown in % with a bar for exact filling

Price-calculating Scale

The scale shows the price of what is on it - in as many currencies as you like at the same time - and adds up the costs of every weighing. Save your products with their prices as THINGS on the scale and load them again with one click or a scan of their QR code. Your labels show the unit price (per kg), dates like "best before" and an EAN-13 barcode with the price or the weight for the scanner at your checkout.

Counting Scale

Tell the scale the weight of one piece - or put a known number of pieces on it - and it counts bigger amounts for you. Like professional counting scales it makes the piece weight more exact by itself while you add more pieces, and it tells you up to how many pieces the count is exact. Prices, labels and the log work in pieces too.

Multi-Scale Counting System

What no normal counting scale can do: connect more scales and they all count together - wirelessly. Every scale shows its own pieces, the big number is the sum of all scales, live - and so are the average, the total weight, the price, the label and the log. Multi-Interval Scale

Many trade scales have more than one weighing range: e.g. 2 g steps up to 6 kg and 5 g steps up to 15 kg. With the RS-232 adapter you type in the step d of your scale like the data plate says (1, 2 or 5 × 10ⁿ, from 0.1 µg to 500 kg) and up to 3 ranges - as multi-interval (the step follows the load, up and down) or multiple range (the highest range since the last return to zero). The adapter and the app round every weight to the step of its range, exactly like the scale. Fine balances with more than 4 million steps deliver every digit in EXACT WEIGHT mode.

On our own load-cell scales the calibration wizard takes one, two or three weights - a multi-point calibration gives more precision over the whole range. The scale remembers the date of its last calibration, reminds you when the next one is due and prints it on your reports.

Multi-Range Scale - many scales in one program

Kilograms and milligrams on one scale at the same time? Technically impossible - so we simply use several scales at the same time in the same program. Weigh kilos of flour on your platform scale and salt to 0.1 g on your fine scale, and log everything together in one recipe. You see what is on which scale and tare them all together or one by one. In counting, check-weighing and sorting every extra scale is a station: it shows its pieces, its PERFECT / OK state or its category.

Is every bag in the right range? Set a target with tolerances, and the scale shows PERFECT, OK, TOO LESS or TOO MUCH in colour - with a sound if you like. It can tare and log by itself after a few seconds, so you can check one pack after the other without touching your phone. How exact do you work? The statistics show the mean, the standard deviation and Cp/Cpk, a run chart and a histogram for every pack, cavity or sorted item - the numbers of statistical process control (SPC), live while you weigh. Sorting Scale

The sorting mode sorts things by weight into your own classes - eggs into S, M, L and XL, fruit, parts, or anything else with up to 42 classes. Put one item after the next on the scale: it gets sorted, counted and summed up by itself, and a coloured bar with an arrow shows where in its class the weight is. Optionally it also follows an active ingredient, and everything goes into the log.

For exact filling there is a percentage bar in many modes - and the factory mode on top: define your molds with their number of cavities and how much goes into each one. Sales Computer & Sales Mode

On top of everything else, your scale is also the sales computer of your shop, market stall, bar or club - no PC, no monthly fee. The sales mode turns the screen into a sales display: big weight, the price highlighted, your last products as tiles. Scan the QR code of a product, weigh, press BOOK NOW - and the sale is added up on the scale: the daily sales report shows pieces, weight, revenue, costs, profit and margin per product, per day or per user, for today, this month or any range. 366 days are kept on the scale, so every phone and every counter sees the same numbers.

The scale checks every booking against its own stable weight, numbers it and chains it to the one before - so a changed or deleted sale shows up. With ENTERPRISE the sealed report gives an inspector every record: gross / tare / net, unit price, the calibration and configuration counters (built along NIST Handbook 44, OIML R 76 and WELMEC Guide 7.2), plus CSV for your accountant. Inventory Scale

Count your stock by weight - like the inventory scales of the bars. Save every bottle, jar or bag with its empty and full weight, then press CHECK ALL: put it on, saved when stable, take it off, next. You see the ml and % left, the full ones in stock and their value - and the loss: what your logs, recipes and sales used is subtracted, so over-pouring, spills and "evaporated" goods show up. Lot & Batch Numbers - with a lot store on the scale

Give your goods a lot number - type it in or scan it from the package (a GS1 code with (10) works too). It goes into every line of the log, onto your labels and into your recipes and batch reports. On the label a small lot code (a QR code in a frame with the word LOT) can be read with any phone camera: it opens a page with the lot, the product, the date and your business - and our app reads the number from it.

With PRO the scale itself keeps up to 420 lots - the same for every phone and app of the scale:

• Number generator: a pattern like {T3}{YY}{MM}{DD}-{N3} (first letters of the product, the date and a counter per day or per product) - the scale counts, so two phones never get the same number; or type in your own
• Who and when: every lot keeps who made it, when, and a note of up to 420 characters (origin, supplier, best before), and its own lab values (e.g. THC / CBD)
• Several lots on sale at the same time: you choose the lot when you load the product; a sold-out lot is set "not on sale"
• Lock a blocked or recalled lot: it stays in the store and shows as locked everywhere

Cannabis Club Records

For the cannabis social clubs in Germany: the app knows the record-keeping duties of the KCanG (§ 26) and books harvest (fresh), dried, dispensing and destruction while you weigh - with member ID, lot number, grams, THC / CBD, time and user, saved on the scale. Member cards with a QR code (IDs only), the member's history of 3 months and limits per day and month with a warning at the counter. THC / CBD from the lab value of the strain or the lot, kept in every record and added up in the reports. Baking Scale

While you weigh and log, a recipe in baker's percentage is made for you - reuse it for any batch size. For bread and pizza: give your liquids and your levain or poolish a hydration, and your recipes show the total flour (also the flour in the preferments), the total liquids and the true hydration of your dough. Diabetic Scale

The scale shows the carbohydrates of your food directly in bread units (BU), carbohydrate units (CU / CP) or carb choices - for one food or added up over a whole meal or recipe. The diary counts them per meal and day for every person, optionally as net carbs (minus fiber) and with fat-protein units (FPU) for insulin pumps.

Edibles & Infusion Calculator

Cannabutter, canna-oil or tinctures with a known strength - weighed, not guessed. Weigh your flower, kief, hash, rosin or distillate, add the cannabinoids of its lab label (THCA is converted with the decarb factor 0.877), choose your solvent (butter, ghee, coconut or MCT oil, glycerin, alcohol ...) and weigh the strained infusion. You get the mg of every cannabinoid per gram, teaspoon and tablespoon. Lab-tested? Your measured value replaces the estimate and shows the real extraction efficiency.

Then the result becomes a THING: you weigh your infusion in mg of THC, your recipes show the mg per portion, the servings calculator splits a batch into portions of exactly 5 or 10 mg, and your labels print the dose and the ingredients. Coffee Scale

For espresso and pour-over: the coffee timer records and draws the flow rate of your shot, the guided pour-over mode calculates coffee and water and shows your brew ratio while you pour, with timers and alarms - and every brew goes into a log. Laboratory Scale

For the home lab and the professional one: hundreds of solvents and chemicals are in the database, so you weigh from hexane (very light) to bromine (very heavy) directly in their volume. The routine check before use takes a minute and gives PASS or FAIL, with profiles from the quick kitchen check to the 10 weighings of USP <41> / Ph. Eur. 2.1.7 with standard deviation and the minimum weight of your balance. A failed check shows a warning until a re-test passes.

Scale Test Suite

Is my scale still good? The app runs the tests of the official procedures (OIML R 76-1 Annex A, EURAMET cg-18) on your scale, guided step by step: repeatability, eccentricity (corner load), accuracy and linearity, tare, zero-setting, discrimination, creep and zero return, warm-up, stable equilibrium. The results are judged against the permitted errors of the accuracy classes that fit your scale, and a checklist shows what is done and what is asked for a verification, an inspection in use or a calibration. All tests and results on the screen are free.

Density Scale

The density mode finds the density of gold, silver and coins, gemstones, minerals, meteorites, wood or 3D prints (Archimedes): weigh the item in air, then hanging in water - the scale guides you through every step and takes the values by itself. The tracking mode records the weight at a fixed interval - for minutes, days or weeks - to follow drying and curing, the water of your plants, a fermentation or evaporation. The scale records by itself, even with the app closed and after a power cut. The scale talks wirelessly to phones, tablets and computers - with many at the same time, and they all see the same data.
