Cannabis social clubs: the documentation is done while you weigh

1Four kinds of booking - one weighing each TEST IN FREEPRO

Switch on the cannabis club settings once and enter the name of your club. From then on the sales mode has a select above the product: dispensing, harvest (fresh), dried and destroyed. Every booking is weighed with a stable weight, confirmed once and saved on the scale - with the time, the person who weighed, the strain, the lot number, the exact grams and a note. No list to fill in afterwards.

2Dispensing (Weitergabe) with member ID, lot and THC / CBD

Scan the jar, put the bag on the scale, type in or scan the member ID - and book. Before a dispensing is booked, the scale checks that everything is there (club, strain, lot, THC / CBD, member ID) and says what is missing. The label for the bag prints with the weight, the lot, the THC / CBD content and the warning symbols if you like. The price may be 0 - a club does not have to sell.

3Members: cards, history and limits

The app prints member cards with a QR code that holds only the ID - no names, no web link. Scan the card at the counter: the app shows the member's dispensing of the last 3 months, and the sums of today and this month. Set your limits per day and per month (e.g. 25 g / 50 g), and the confirmation warns before a dispensing goes over one - with the new sum. Only a warning: the booking stays possible. The sales report can be grouped by member.

4THC / CBD from the lab report to the yearly sum

Enter the content in mg per gram from your lab report once per strain - THC, CBD and more (CBG, CBN, THCV ...) - or per lot, when a lot has its own lab value. Every booking keeps the THC and CBD it had at that moment, the screen shows the mg of what is on the scale live (also in %), the label prints them, and the reports add them up as the amount in the goods: per lot, per harvest, and dispensed per year.

5Harvest, drying and destruction

A harvest is usually weighed in several parts: book each part as harvest (fresh). Weeks later the dried buds of the same lot are booked as dried - with THC / CBD when you have the lab values - and the app offers to add them to the stock. The harvest log combines the weighings of one lot into one report: fresh, dried, or both with the drying loss in %. A destruction needs a reason (e.g. mold) and is taken out of the stock; the destruction log lists every destruction of a year with its reason.

To follow the drying itself, put the rack on a second scale and start the tracking mode with the drying preset: it shows the estimated moisture live and gives an alarm at your target (10-12 %).

6One lot number links everything

Create the lot at the harvest - by hand or with the lot generator of the scale (a pattern like strain + date + counter; two phones never get the same number). Print the lot label for the container. Weeks later, scan it and go on: the dried weight, the destruction and every dispensing land on the same lot. A lot can be set "not on sale" or locked (e.g. for a recall).

7Lot report and the sums of the year

The lot report shows harvest, drying loss, destruction, dispensing and what is left - per lot. The harvest log combines the weighings of a harvest, the destruction log lists the year's destructions with their reasons. The sums of the year per strain, with the THC / CBD dispensed, help you with the yearly report to your authority. The stock in the inventory shows what should be left - and how much "evaporated".

8Tamper-evident records for an inspection ENTERPRISE

With ENTERPRISE every member of the staff logs in, and the activity log shows who booked, changed or deleted what. The scale numbers and chains every record (SHA-256): a changed or missing entry shows up. One click exports the documentation as CSV, JSON or a sealed PDF with the club, the scale and the user in the header - anybody can check the seal on up-scales.com/check. So when there is an inspection, or the tax office comes, everything is ready. Relax - your documentation has already been done.

Hi, I am Johann, the developer of UP↑SCALE. Cannabis has been part of my life and my work for a long time - in my own legal commercial kitchens on Tenerife (Canary Islands), where we made infused food every day, and in our legal cannabis club there. And every day the same story: a scale that showed a number, and everything else - the dose per portion, the harvest weights, what went to whom, what was left in the jar, the papers for the next inspection - on paper, in spreadsheets and in our heads.

So I built the first UP↑SCALEs for exactly these needs: for my own kitchens and for the club. Weighing in mg of THC, infusions with a known strength, jars that tell you what is left, every gram on a lot, the records made while you weigh. Everything you find here was first used by us, behind our own counter and at our own stoves - and then made better, again and again.

That is why I know what growers, kitchen crews, budtenders and the people who keep a club running really need - and what they don't need: subscriptions, clouds, accounts and somebody else holding their data.
