3The sales log: revenue, costs and profit per product TEST IN FREEPRO

Every booking is added up on the scale: the daily report shows pieces, weight, revenue, costs, profit and margin per product, per day or per user, for today, this month or any range. 366 days are kept, the scale warns before its memory gets full. Tips from the practice

Market stall without power? The adapter runs from a USB power bank, the app from your phone - no internet needed, it all works offline.
Give your products a "Costs" unit (the purchase price per g): the sales report then shows your profit and margin, not only the revenue.
Pre-packed bags: in the confirmation of a sale you may type the weight in by hand - it is marked as manual in the record.
Sell from the jar: with the take-away mode the scale shows what you take out, not what is left.

The rules you should know

Selling by weight needs a verified scale (NAWI directive 2014/31/EU, OIML R 76) - the price the customer pays comes from the legal reading. See verified trade scales.
Price labels and receipts in trade are legally relevant: ask your verification office (in Germany the Eichamt) which setup is allowed - the usual way for PC software is a scale with an alibi memory.
Cash register: the sales log is your own record, not a certified or fiscal cash register. Your cash register stays for the payment - check the rules of your country for receipts and bookkeeping.
